Quote of the Day
God does not create from a distance. He is in us, in our most intimate depths, more present to us than we are to ourselves.
~Jules Chevalier, MSC

2026

Welcome to 2026

February

Reflective Gathering 1

On February 19 we began in  earnest with looking at our reality and the transitions that need to be addressed at this time.          As always we began with prayer; our focus was on the Emmaus story. We too are disciples on the road.

Board Dinner

It was lovely to spend time  with the Board Members and their partner in life in a spirit of gratitude.

March

Reflective Gathering 2

We continued depthing the theme of transition and what that calls us to, how we respond to inevitable change.

Feast of Annunciation

On our Foundation Day, 25 March, we were blessed to have Fr Peter Malone, MSC, with us presiding at Eucharist and joining us for Afternoon Tea. Tess Veenker, our Province Leader, acknowledged or Province Secretary, Margaret Donohoe, for her valuable contribution to our life and wellbeing for 25 years. Thank you, Margaret!

Assembly

On April 9 we held our first Assembly in place of our a Provincial Chapter. Besides looking to our future and its needs we focused on the upcoming General Chapter and how we will contribute to the life of our Congregation as a new leadership team begins following the Chapter. A very important task was to elect delegates to the General Chapter. They are: Mary Drum and Carolle Barwick,  and substitute delegate, Rosalind Cairns.
